I am looking at getting a set of the HP Racing Evos in 18"x8". I am having trouble making a decision on tires. My car is lowered about 2" with H&R springs. I am thinking of a 225/40 R18, but I think it will be too big Currently I am running 17"x7" with a 215/45Z R17 tire. If there is anyone out there with a similar setup I would greatly appreciate any help.

I'm pretty sure those will work fine. Due to the width you may need to roll the rear fender some. I had to with 225/45/17

Sorry to bring up a old topic, but I also need to get some tires for my wheels. I didn't want to make another topic post on here since I saw this one already. Currently I'm running on Pirelli tires size 225/45R17 on some Racing Hart C2's.

Now I was thinking about switching up the size for either a 215/50R17 or a 205/40R17 tire, but I'm not sure which would be better for my car. Now I know that the 215/50R17 is standard on a GSX but I seem to see a lot of people here also running 205/40R17's on their cars, so that's why I'm asking for an opinion on what size tire I should be running on my car. I don't know what to choose and I just want something a little bit cheaper than my 225/45's but if you guys think that I should stick with that size, I will. Thank you in advance for all the help.
