Hello, I'm attempting to remove the springs and struts on my car. Both front and back. On the front it basicly says to remove the whole assembly witht he strut fork attacheched, but the bolt out. Is this the best way to do it?

The stabalizer bolt (anti-swaybar link bolt) only seems to keep rotating without comming out when i trun the nut.

If anyone could give me any insight on this topic i would appricate it.

I'll just warn you that this could tear the rubber bushing, but the only way i could get mine off was to put a vice grip very very tight onto that rubber bushing behind the link and then use my wrench and turn the nut. I couldnt find an easier way.. maybe someone has one :p

I just did this 2 days ago. It sucked. I screwed up the springs and disassembled the shock from the spring - MISTAKE!!! I had to cut the spring to get it out of the wheel well because it locked the shock in the brace fork. As for the sway bar links, yes - you will need to use a vice grips, and yes - you probably will tear the rubber boot. They are quite expensive new. Hey, i got one of the fronts off last night. I never got the link bolt off. I just pushed down on it untill there was enough clearance to get the shock/spring assembly out.

Is it going to be much harder to ge the stock spring and shock back in? I gues sprobably not, but who knows?

I don't quite understand why you want to take the stock spring and shock assembly off and then put it back on... But if you dis-assemble the shock from the spring you will need a spring compressor, unless you can physically put a thousand pounds of pressure on the spring to compress it.

I never had to compress my springs because I went with the Skunk2 coil overs, so my help is limited at this point.
