#29628, "Rear Sway Bar"

I know that I need to get an ass load of parts to get the rear sway bar on. I have run into a problem though. People are telling me that I need different parts that have different part numbers. If someone could clearify the part numbers it would be greatly appreciated. I was on the phone with someone at our local Mitsubishi dealership and he informed me that the links part number is mb892981 and is 82 dollars. First off, that seems rediculously expensive, and second off I have a different part number that I need.

Here's the first set of part numbers I've been told I need.
2 Cont. Arm MB864728 $45.00/ea
2 End Links MB892982 $15.00/ea
2 Brackets MB515245 $ 8.00/ea
4 Nuts MS440504 $ 1.00/ea
4 Bolts MF241251 $ 1.00/ea

Here's the second.
2 brackets mb515245 $4.98 $3.98ea
2 links mb892982 $12.47 $9.98ea
2 arms mr131754 $39.28 $31.42ea
4 bolts mf241251 $.50 $.40ea
4 nuts mb288653 $.65 $.52ea

If someone could clearify what I need and what I don't need it would be greatly appreciated. I have RMDSM sway bars for a FWD 2G, and I have a 1996 RS. Thanks again.

The only difference is the arms and the nuts themselves. I don't know what the difference is yet, but I also need to replace the front sway bar link as mine is stripped out. So should I uprgade that one at all or can I upgrade that one at all? Thanks again.

mitsubishigraveyard.com 50 bucks for both control arms. Ebay for the rest there is a kit end links, bushings and crap like that all the time. Only get what you have too from mitsu or pay their ass pounding prices.

We will build you bigger and stronger

Wake up and drive my ass... More like wake up and fix it.
