I have a 98 Eclipse RS automatic trans. and I am tryin to remove the halfshafts. I have the whole wheel assembly yore apart already but can't get the half shafts out of the transmission.... Any help on how to do this would be great.

put a pry bar or something with a flat point on the green thing (on the flat part) and pop it out, don't pull on it, pop it out.

I use a small crow bar and a hammer, hit the crowbar and it should just pop right out.

thanks for the help on that.... The driver side came right out but for some reason the passenger side onw will not budge any more suggestions?

Never mind on that it finally came out but thanks for the help it was greatly needed
