So my talon got to experience some "spirited flight", or something like that, on complete accident. Anyways I've been on pro-kits and stock struts for about 10k miles now and I am pretty sure my front struts are blown. I have more, yes I found that from searching, thats not my question. First off, the rears are fine, the fronts however seem to bounce a very little bit if I push them down. Also I do have more body roll so that definitly means my front struts are blown right? When I push the car down I will get a squeaking noise from both sides some times too, is that just due to the strut being blown? My steering seems a little sloshy also. Would all these be symptoms of a blown strut or did I mess up something else when this happened? I am pretty sure that its just the struts but I want to make sure everything else is fine. Time for some illuminas now!

ive got that same squeaking but only on the front right wheel and after having the same setup for about 5k miles. Mine dont bounce and arent blown so i wouldnt say the squeaking is from them being blown. i would put my money on it being a bushing somewhere. its been pissing me off for months, if you figure it out PM me PLEASE! haha

I have AGX struts and when the rears blew, they made squeaking sounds while they were blown until I replaced them. Check to see if the oil is seeping out of them also. If the car doesn't handle like it did before, then they are probably blown, but that's just my thoughts, I could be wrong.

If I get enough time I will put on the illuminas before the first week in Jan. so it could be a while before I know if the squeaking will go away but I will PM you if yours is not fixed by then. I am pretty sure that it's just my struts but I haven't had the time to take apart things to check everything out. At least I hope that it's only the struts.

hmm, might explain some of the squeaks I've noticed recently. Especially since I have a similar history:

I you hear squeaking when you turn the wheels its probably the ball joints.

Yeah, when the ball joints go bad you'll also get a squeaking in the front, both when turning and when going over bumps, or pushing the car down when its parked. Might want to look into that too since its the recall and they'll fix it for free. Just had mine replaced for the 2nd time (for free again) at my local dealer a few weeks ago, it was creaking realll bad.

I had the same problem with my ball joints too. Took it to the dealership due to recall and they fixed it all for free. emoji
