#27916, "Are wheel spacers my only option????"

Ok so I have the HP Racing Evos, and on the front of my 99 GS the Hub sticks out about 3mm too much and he center caps will not fit over top of them. I was originally gonna just grind them down but i would be removing the pin/clip thing which i later found out is needed. So people have told me i can get Spacers that just go over the rotor and makes it so your wheels are still tightened to the rotor but stick out a little farther, i would like to avoid this if possible, im thinking i t would make my wheels stick out farther than the body and i dont want that, i also would think it would effect my handling. Please if you know any other ways, feel free to share, and if you have experience with spacers please explain.

I have my wheels spaced about 5mm.

There are some rules that apply about which spacers to use on hubcentric wheels, and how thick you can go w/o having to replace the lugs.

I have a couple posts on here about properly using spacers, search for them.
