#27868, "Wanting to lower on stock shocks"

Do I have any options if I'm wanting to lower my car on stock shocks? I know I could if I really wanted, but from what I've read it would be shitty and bounce, but all those people were dropped 2". I'm just looking to drop 1, to 1.5 inches. My stockers are in great shape, i just need to lose a little bit of wheelgap as you can see here:

I know it probably SHOULD be dropped the full 2", but I don't have the cash for that right now, plus road conditions around here don't really allow for it. Thanks in advance!

-Chris

Just to share here, I've been lowered on sprint springs (2") and stock shocks for like 2 years and none of them are blown. I don't expect them to last much longer, but lucky so far. Never know till you try it.

More times than none, you will see that alot of peoples stock struts will blow. Trust me on this. I thought just as you did hoping my shocks would last because I did not have much money. I bought dropzones and the ride was nice for awhile until the struts blew in the back. Then the girlfriend bought me some agx adjustables and its road fantastic. So in my opinion get new struts and if you can get adjustables go for it. They are very fun to play with.

The stock shocks arn't designed to ride at any height other than stock. They WILL blow quickly.
