#27713, "Rear Strut Mount Question"

hey guys, my rear strut mounts (upper) are gone and I was looking online for parts. I seen two different items when looking for rear upper strut mounts. One is the actual mount (round with two mounting bolts and hole for strut for about $40...doesn't look like any center bushing with it) and the other was just a bunch of rubbers for about $12.

what exactly is for the rear upper mount?

thanks a million

sorry, i post at work and sometimes i'm in a hurry.....so i guess what i'm asking is, if my rear upper is knocking, what would most likely be the problem? would i need the mount itself (the round mount with two bolts and center for strut to come through) or the rubbers??

hope this helps a little

The upper knuckle bushings seem to be a failure prone part on 2Gs, makes a loud kind of hollow knocking sound going over bumps and when you turn hard.

if the upper strut mount is bad, you'll know because it'll be broken into two peices. If it is not split apart then your problem may lie elsewhere, like the knuckle bushing like ^ said
