I searched didnt find a answer so here goes nuthin........ you know those little rubber things the bolts go through??? do we need those?, i bought a set of brackets and calipers off some guy and one of the brackets didnt come with those, another ?, one of the brackets has a broken off bolt inside of it, has anyone else had this happen? if so how did you get it out?, i already drilled out the center of the bolt to try an easy out but i wanted to ask first, atm the bracket is soakin in pb blaster to try and get the rust off of it.
Ok, one last one, i was cleaning up the calipers so i could paint them, well i compressed the pistons inthe calipers but on one of them i notice a little bit of fluid coming out around i guess "the piston seal" is that goin to cause issues or does that rubber boot around the piston just keep dirt and dust out?
yes the rubber thingy is important. it keeps crap off your caliper pins. without them crap gets inside and could eventually bind your calipers and make them not 'float'.
idk 'bout getting the bolt out... i suck at broken bolts
the leaking piston is not a good thing. if fluid is leaking from inside the caliper out through the piston then there's a good chance the calipers are bad. you can try rebuilding them but until you get that fixed i wouldn't put them on my car.
who'd you buy these off of? it sounds like there's a good reason they ditched them.
i got them off a dude from dsmtrader.com, he said they worked fine, they came off a 99 gsx that he was parting out, iono if maybe ther is a pin hole in the rubber boot that sits around the piston or what, its only on one caliper and one piston, as far as the rubber things that go around the bolts, can i take them off my stock shitty calipers and put them on the gsx ones??? the boly is goin to be a major pita i can tell you, last time i delt with a bolt that got stuckk in my stock caliper bracket i had to buy a new one from the dealor caus eit wouldnt come out, so as of right now, dont buy shit froma guy onther by the name of peitro, lol bad bad man he is

Does your enter key not work? See if you have one, and if so, use it periodically to break your posts into paragraphs.
The enter key lives above the key that says "Shift", and to the right of the key with the "," and the " on it. Sometimes, it goes by the alias "Return."
Also, thinking about spelling words in a manner that approaches correct will help. Any resemblance between your post and proper English is strictly coincidental.
That being said, try a torch, PB Blaster, and easy-outs.

Also, I forgot to post my congratulations... That's the longest goddamned sentence that I have ever fucking read.
I think that you can re-use the boots ("rubber things"), as they should be the same size. It really depends on their condition. If they are so-so, you may be shit out of luck, as CAPS isn't showing a part number or a PNC for those parts, only the letter "A." Just make sure that you clean and grease the sliders.
Whenever I pull out slider pins, I stick them in a tub of grease, which is something that I would recommend, too, by the way.

I have now noticed that some people are arogant ass holes that need to get laid, with that said, fuck off dickface and thank you for your help regarding my problem with the braking system in my car. Fuckin dumbass
When you saw that broken off bolt in there you probably should have sent them back. I had the same problem with a head I bought, broken bolts inside, pain the neck to get out.

welp i decided what im going to do, advance auto parts has "LOADED" calipers, i went and they had one set in stock, the caliper come like this: Caliper, Caliperbracket, Pads, Shims, and im goin to use this set as the core so i dont have to pay that pesky 50 buck core charge, the seteup is 76 bucks without the core charge so, im getting basicly bran new calipers and brakets for 160 bucks

Fuck you, turdwipe. I tried to help, but it was hard to tell exactly what you needed to know. In fact, I am still not sure what it is, exactly, that you wanted to know. Communication skills are paramount to asking for help.
It's not a matter of arrogance, it's more of a matter of conveying your point in a way approaching comprehensible.
