for a free trade its not bad. The GR-2s don't last very long lowered, though, since they are only a slight upgrade over the stock shocks. Suspension is pretty easy, especially if your car is one of the later model 2GNTs. if it is a 95 or 96 it will be a lot harder since the bolts will be stuck, rusted or rotted after 10 years of wear and tear.

I've been running the GR2s on Sportlines for a couple months now. Love it. I've finally got the hang of navigating driveways and speed bumps, so I rarely bottom out anymore. The car feels great on the road, too.

The fronts are a bit of a PITA due to getting this and that out of the way to get the strut out, but once you get the bolts broken loose, you're golden. I would budget about 3 hours to get this swap done. You should be able to get it done quicker. Pick up a 12pack and crank up the tunes. It will be fun.

Its easy to do. I can do an entire swap in half an hour to hour.

In the front there are 3 bolts at the top of the strut tower. They will come loose easy since they arent really exposed to the elements. Then there are 2 at the bottom of the strut that needs to come loose. One for the forks to mount to the lower arms and the one that holds the strut to the forks. I would spray these with wd40 or pb blaster before you start.

The rears are simular except you dont have the forks. Two bolts in the top of the strut town and one near the bottom. Spray the bottom one and let it soak. Only thing you need to get out of the way are the wheels. Nothing else needs to be removed to get them out.

Easy as pie... Let me know if you need any other info on it...

Thanks man. Mine look clean as hell so I'm anticipating an easy swap. emoji

Now about the camber...Dropping from stock to -2" is going to require a camber kit right?
