is it possible to replace the boot on the three ball joints? i had a "friend" help change my right side axel this weekend. he ripped a hole in all three ball joint boots, grease oozed out and everything. the thing is someone one hit me on that side last year so all three joints are brand new! i know if they were contaminated i should replace them, but these have just been punctured

those are the ones that were punctured. i think ill give it a shot and at least try to repair them. i mean the damn stickers are still on all three arms from when they were replaced with the accident. i know they are in perfect shape just need new boots and more grease. that will be cheaper than replacin them all. im also gettin that ball joint puller that has the thread to turn and pops it out, screw the damn pickle fork!
one last thing are those part numbers for a 2g? i think they are cause the 1g doest have as many arms?

No. Those numbers are for a 1982 Celica.
OF COURSE they are for a 2G. This is 2GNT, and you have a 2G.
Anyways, those just pull off, and push on. No press needed to install them.
As for getting a ball joint press, I wouldn't bother. I would just make sure to have two large hammers on hand. Because the ball join seat is tapered, whacking it on both sides will compress the seat, and pop out the joint. Just make sure that the nut is off, and you whack on the side.
