#27164, "Quick Lowering ?"

Ive been searching a bit and have a good idea but just wanted to make sure befor I bought them.

I wana lower my car about an 1''-1.3''. Im deciding between Tien S-Tech Springs or the Eibach Pro Kit Springs. Any opinions on which ones I should get?

Also, Im eventually going to get new struts and such but my question is. If I lower it with either of those kits will it be safe to just use springs for a while to lower it. Will I need to do a camber mod or anything? I dont plan on buying struts for another couple months so I just wanted to be sure.

Thanks in advance guys

Nick

I have tein S-tech so definitely going to recommend those. They give the car an aggressive stance and no real scrape issues driving around town.(just have to take it slow in some areas) I did need a camber kit and an alignment but I also got new tires at the same time so I can't tell you for sure. anyways here are some pics before and after.

I plan on eventually getting the tein struts when I get the money emoji

Dont worry about the camber for 1"-1.3". It wont be that bad. I'm dropped at least 3" and i havent had the camber corrected yet. I just have to buy new tires every year. But if you want to, just take it to get aligned and they will adjust the camber for you.

Damn dude, go get your car aligned...I'm dropped 2.5" and my alignment was WAY OFF! Quit spending $500/year on tires and spend $40 on an alignment session.

Just my .02.

Will I need to get struts if I want to lower it only 1-1.3''?

Im eventually gonna get sturts for sure but I want to lower it ASAP and would probably be driving around with it lowered just on springs for a month or two till I can afford sturts.

Otherwise Ill just save up for it all at once

Patience is a virtue. Save some money, buy some shocks n struts, THEN install your springs all at the same time. Otherwise your going to have to tear down your supsenion twice. Do it RIGHT the first time. If you lower your car on stock struts your going to blow them in no time.

Why are you in such a rush to have springs? Don't half-ass your suspension by just installing springs, you'll be sorry. Rushing things is not the way to work on your car, unless you are pressed for time.
