Placed an order for some Zeon 2XS tires size 225/45/R17. Should be here wednesday. Anyone know anything about them? Any personal experience? Please share!

Thanks!

I saw a set on this Tiburon that goes around town. They look good to me.

Well I finally got my car back on the road for the first time with these tires (225/45/17 on 17x7)and the traction is really good... compared to my bald kuhmo's anyway. In first gear they break loose at 10psi but not bad and in 2nd they held 16psi which my old kuhmo's couldn't even hold 10 in second. Also They stick great on turns... Basically they don't suck but I havn't experienced many tires to make a fair comparison but anywho, I'm very pleased with them so far.

EDIT: the kuhmo's I'm refering too are 711's sized 215/45/17 on 17x7 and they had quite a bit of wear on them.

The cooper is not a great tire if your going to be any real racing (auto x, road course). Its a 'tuner' tire, simply put its designed to look really good and perform so so. Of course most performance tires look pretty shitty but perform well. Im not trying to knock down on your purchase, just being honest.

Its cool. I won't be doing any auto-x or drag runs anytime soon... I just want these to last. Tires are expensive and I'm broke. Also, going to a university in Jan so I don't need anymore expenses.

Those should last quite some time, I have a friend with an lightly modded integera and he has had them since they hit the market, 1.5-2 years ago. They show hardly any wear and he drives them fairly hard. I feel you pain on the broke side man. Just paid up tuition and bought a ring for my girlfriend. My savings account hates me.

Hey did you ever get the squirt working on your car?

Ring? Congratulations K.

I run with the Zeons FCKING LOVE EM. They do not last long...plan on a summer if you drive hard. (4-5 months) I have been driving on my second set gently and we will see how they last. I have never rolled the sidewalls on these tires.
