I just got my Sprint lowering springs and I really cant afford the 400-500 dollar installation charges at all of my local installers (Tires plus, tuffy, or car-x) So is there a write up on taking struts off so I could just take those in to have the springs swapped? And as goes for a camber kit, will I need one with these springs? I also have Hankook Ventus HRII tires. So overall, instrustions on taking off my struts.....camber kit needed?...Thanks, Cory

You need camber kits depending on how far you lower. Tell use your drop height and we can tell you if you need a kit. Also it's really fuckin easy to take off struts and change springs. All you need to do is rent a spring compressor from Autozone for a day and just take off a bunch of bolts. If you can see straight and have 3 brain cells you can change springs and struts in our cars.

http://www.2gnt.com/www/corbin/struts.html this was found on the main page in the mods/handling installations/strut install it's written up by corbin i used the same write up and it' exactly all the information you need and nothing you dont. You can do the fronts in about 2-3 hours (using hand tools) or so the backs are alot easier than the fronts. have fun!

The sprint springs are rated at 2 inches front and back. I dont really want to have to purchase a camber kit so if it isnt absolutely necessary I wont, but you guys know better than I do so if you think I do let me know. THanks a lot! Cory

It is. 2 inch drop requires front and rear camber kits.

That's only good for a slight drop. 2" or higher require a kit.
