I was told to use solid front motor mounts to help increase low end torque. This sounded all good until some old guy told me that our engines are like "drop out or down mounts" meaning if it were to come off it would fall to the ground and not back into us. He was really pissing me off because he kept accusing all of us of "jacking up" our cars and not knowing a thing about what we're doing. So if somebody could clear things up for me and let me know if its really solid motor mounts are really that dangerous or not?? What ones should I get and cna I install them myself?? THanks a lot, Cory Sorry for the long read
