Was driving to work yesterday, not going particularly fast, not really in a hurry. Where St. Joseph crosses Main downtown, Main is slightly higher than st joseph, so you go over a little hill... apparently, due to the construction in that area, a large bump has developed between the ruts in the pavement left by Merto buses and the like. I was doing maybe 20MPH, came over this little hill and WHAM! Now, i had scraped it once before in the same spot, so i didn't think anything of it. Yesterday when i was about to leave work, i decided to check under my car (Remember, i just dropped my oilpan) for oil leaks, and saw that the damn thing is noticably scarred and very visibly BENT towards the rear of the car. With my luck, the stress stripped out one or both of those holes, so i'm screwed if i leave it on and screwed if i take it off. I wonder if i can get mt $50 back. >
