Its easy... they will only work one way. I assume the kits are the anchor bolt kits that replace the mounts on the upper control arm. they Look like a "b" or "d". the round section goes into the control arm with the bolts facing up. same for both side. If that doesnt help you let me know and I'll do a quick sketch for you.

Then you should be able to figure it out quite easily. If your still not sure let me know and I'll explain it a little better with some sketches or pics.

my kit only came with two b things and two longer bolts. is this right?

there are like that only there is no threaded stud comming out of it at the bottom. i only have two total is that right?
