The H&R OE springs are nice. Thats about a 1" drop. I have been very happy with mine (I switched from Progress Sports that were too low). They are stiffer than stock, so they may wear out stock struts. They have been fine with my Illuminas for over a year.

Springs that lower your car need shocks that are for lowered cars (performance shocks). Spring rates don't matter as much as height. So, if your asking what springs you can lower your car with that won't blow stock shocks, then it's only a matter of time.

/\/\ exactly true.

if you want to lower your car 1" for looks....fine.

But your hate the ride no matter what springs you use.

The "ride" aspect is handled with the shock dampening/rebound. No matter what, You'll technically be placing more load on the factorey shock (think of it as having say 2" if shock travel, now you only have 1") your shock is going to bottom out. period. Then the rest of the force will be applied to the spring which in my case (shitty ebay coilovers) literally explode the 2 fronts springs when I hit an unavoidable bump emoji.

that fuckin sucked. But it sucked also cause i would bounce 2-3 times after going over EVERY bump. embarresing.

Your wasting your time BANME! so I'll just tell you what I WOULD HAVE done first.

Buy tokico struts (they don't even need to be adjustable, but thats where you can change the DAMPENING)

Buy teins springs. They are pretty cheap and you'll actuallylike the 1.8" drop better.

edit: your ride is nice. you don't wanna be bouncin, trust me. Plus after the drop your car will handle like crazy. I get more outta ripping up corners than going fast. emoji.
