Alright, looking for guys who have done this. My upper control arms/ball joints are shot, both front and rear. How was the installation? My suspension is going under the knife in the next month or so. I blew the rear struts earlier this week hitting a nasty cutout section of road.
Anyway, I think I'll be calling Bob Kise for the parts. Unless theres something out there thats going to outperform OEM. If anyones ordered these before do you know if you have to order them as a complete assembly or what? Thanks guys.

Well I just was out during my lunchbreak looking at my rear struts and notice that top portion of the strut somehow broke/popped off from its position. Here is a pic. Did I seriously screw something up here or what? Doesn't look good at all.
This is obviously why I've been hearing clunk clunk clunk over bumps n dips in the road all week. Grrrrr.
Is there anyway I can get this to pop back up into place, I tried momentarily to move it back up into place before I headed back to lunch but no avail. I am supposed to be heading to Grand Rapids tomorrow for a meet. I've been driving on it all week and just notice that the backend seems a lil loose but nothing drastic.

Well, I would get a new upper spring perch and replace it. That is highly unhealthy looking. In fact, I woudln't be shocked if a bad bump put the shock through the hatch.

By the way, "Specialty Products" makes an aftermarket aluminium upper a-arm for the fronts. It includes camber and castor adjustability. Neat piece, with a replacable balljoint.

Alright, the picture about 5 posts above is what we're looking at. I hit a nasty section of road and somehow the top part of the strut broke and popped down under the wheel well. It looks like it was in a secure position, but do to rust and hitting the huge bump it somehow broke off completely???
I took off the rear wheel, and was able to push the strut back up into the hole and keep it positioned as I put the wheel back on and lowered the car back down. The strut can easily be pushed back down or pulled back up through the hole (as long as the car is jacked up). So I thought I had fixed it temporarily, but not even a mile or so down the road, there it went popping down and out of place. Keep in mind every little hump/small bump in the road causes it to smack clunk smack clunk clunk around the opening that it is supposed to be secured in place.
I'm really stumped on this one and in fear that even replacing the rear struts will not solve this problem. If the strut in there now is popping out of place, how would the new one stay in place? See what I'm getting at? Please help me out anyway guys. Thanks!
