#25354, "Weird noises from rear"

Hey guys. Ever since I've got my '95 Eclipse GS about a year ago I've had some weird noises coming from the back of my car. There is a weird pop/thud noise if I hit a bump or something like that, and there's a weird creaking noise just about anytime the car moves up or down. (bump, going uphill, someone sitting down in the car). Due to getting my car painted I haven't had the money to fix these problems, but now I've got some spare cash but don't know what the problem is. I replaced the shocks last year but that didn't help at all, so that crosses those off the list. Also, my car gets a little shaky whenever I start slowing down from high speeds (60 mph or greater). I've already replaced all brake pads/rotors. Thanks in advance for any help..

JD

Are the dust boots over the shocks? Similar symptoms are caused by forgeting to put those back on because of the plate needed in them. Once that's off the list I would consider replacing the control arms.

Dust boots are on. Made sure they were on whenever we replaced shocks. Know a good place where I can pick up some control arms for a reasonable price?

Rear Knuckle Bushings. Look at the rear arm and there is a rubber busing that I bet is disintegrated.

I could go take a pic of mine but.....
