When my wheel came off my car something on my driver side started sparking. When i took the wheel off there was damage to this part but im not sure what it is called. Its not the rotor or anything its behind it. It's some sort of a controller arm? It's a metal rod with a circle at the end (think of a wand that blows bubbles, but metal) and the circular part is supposed to be atleast a inch thick. Anyone know what this part is called?

Don't work for the system, Let the system work for you.

If the arm is over 1" thick, and about a foot long, its your lower control arm. There's a recall on that part because the ball joints fail. Take it to a dealership.

If the arm is under 1" thick and your car is a GS, it may be the sway bar. It goes all the way under the car to the other wheel though.
