It's not going to raise the height by much, if any because your using smaller tires. Without a drop though 18's don't look like 18's.

from the center of your wheel to the outside will be longer with 18s compared to stock rims. you will have to measure your rims now and compare to your 18's when they arrive, but measure them with tires. that will tell you if it will be higher off the ground or not. i know that my car is now taller because i was using 17s with 205/40s compared to 225/45s now.

It won't raise it much... maybe about a quarter inch, but it'll APPEAR much higher.

As these guys said, it should not make too much of a difference with your ride height. If you got the correct tire size to make your speedo stay the same, it will not change at all. But with big ass rims, little sidewall, and no drop, you will look like you are higher.

Flyin is right. On my car:

195/70-14 = 215/45-17 +/- .1 inch (can't remember if I had 70 or 75's as stock) in rolling diameter but the wheels definately look bigger.

So now at 44 what the hell do I do?

My Spyder with 18s and no drop in my sig pic. Not too bad imo especially if it's only till you can afford springs. I've had it like that for 3 years and nobody ever said anything bad (at least not to my face emoji )
