i have a line on a brembro big brake kit for a GSX for all 4 rotors and calipers. i have read the GSX stickies but still have one question: since this is a BREMBRO kit and not a OEM GSX upgrade as the stickies talk about, i would still need the caliper brakets from a GSX to make them work on my RS, right?

for about $250.00 clams this would be a great deal, yah?

yeah it would be a good deal...and yeah...all you should need are the brackets...since, essentially, them bracketes and calipers turn your hubs into gsx hubs.

yea you would since the rs/gs brackets are much smaller than the GSX ones, unless they include them into the kit WHICH I DOUBT!

you sure brembo doesn't include the brackets? i'm pretty sure it's the same kit for ALL eclipses since our hubs are identical. i think you ditch everything that would've distinguished between RS/GS/GST and GSX. (rotors, calipers, brackets, pads, etc.)

i dont see why it wouldnt come with the brackets. since if you have more pistons to your caliper, then the bigger the caliper will be. hense the bigger area the bracket will need to hold in the caliper.

I'm pretty sure the Brembo Gran Turismo kit includes all brackets. The 4-piston monoblock calipers wouldnt fit in the 2-piston GSX brackets.



Although, this kit costs $2500 so I think you're either getting a typo, rotors only, or stolen goods at $250. If not, congrats!

also you said all FOUR rotors an calipers? i'm pretty sure almost every aftermarket kit for our cars is fronts only... i know someone had a willwood setup for all four though. but i'm almost sure that brembo was fronts only. haha if brembo doesn't make a rear kit then i'm pretty sure something's a little fisy...
