Well I searched through about 8 pages of suspension information and I think I know what I need to do. BUT I wanted to get an opinion from some of you that have 19's. Here's the story.
I just bought 19"x8" Konig Imagine's with 245/35/19 Toyo Proxies. They are on the car right now and are rubbing but only on the right side. My car is lowered with 2" Sprint springs and tokico blues. Now my question is...why is the right side of the car about .5" lower then the left? I had 17's on there no problem and didn't notice a difference in wheel gap until I put the 19's on. The tires on the passenger side are literally touching the fender.
Now should I get different springs that aren't as low? Maybe something with a 1.3" drop? OR, are the tires I have too big and won't work even with other springs? Is there anything I can check as to why the passenger side is lower??? Will I have to roll the fenders? Any help would be apprecieated. Thanks

as for why one side is lower than the other, i would think that would have something to do with uneven sagging of the springs but i could be wrong so dont quote me on that. its just what would make sense imo.

actually the uneven saggin of the car is 100% normal. my right side is definitly about a half inch lower. that is simply the way the weight of the car makes it sit. try searching and see what you can find, not sure exactly what terms you would use to search but i believe you'll read that it's normal. with 19's it's just magnified and made more noticeable because of the much smaller wheel gap.

you may need to replace one strut. as for the tire size...245 is too big. period. thats an extra half inch of tire that you dont need. if you run 225s or 215s, not only will they be thinner to begin with, but when you stretch them over the tire they are not as vertical in relation to the wheel. hard to explain...
um...if you can get some 225s at least. im running three 225/35 nittos and one 215/35 pirelli. the lower width tires also result in lower sidewall height which will help if you are rubbing the edge of the fenders. i imagine you are rubbing the inside of the fenders correct? mine rubbed there for a while when i was lowered 5" and honestly i dont know how i managed to drive daily at that ride height with 225/35 19s inflated to 45psi. let them keep rubbing unless you can't deal with that. mine still rub every now and then on complete right turns (ie, out of my driveway only). wear those tires down some and once you need to replace them get some nitto 555s or pirelli pzero neros.
