I brought my car to my mechanic today to get my suspension checked. It was making a grinding sound from the front left when i used the brake. It sounded like I had a rusty rotor and it just started about 5 minutes before i brought it in. He told me that whoever (whoever being goodyear) had put on my new suspension parts didnt tighten any bolts and that caused my tie rods, half shafts and ball joints to get ruined. The parts goodyear put on were struts and shocks. They put them on about 3 months ago and Mitsubishi did the ball joint recall 2 months ago. Does this sound right to you? would loose bolts cause all of that? I really dont know what to do about this. He wants $711.00 to fix all of it. Im already in debt $1200 from other car repairs. Ive only had her a month... this sucks, so what do you think, would loose bolts do all of that? Neither goodyear or mitsu will cover it.

I don't see loose bolts doing any of that personally.
If it just started 5 minutes before you brought it in, what were you originally bringing it in for?
