k, got a venge, same platform as 2g, with tokico blues and maxspeed coilovers, if i put the spring to drop the full 4 in, the whoe rear of the car will jus sit on the metal rod that comes outa the strut, i cant seem to drop more than an 1.5 in with thte rear, what do i do, please help, do i need a diff strut or what, this is jus a fwd car, the fronts fine i suppose, but my dam car is raked forward pretty good, sum 1 plz help me drop the rear heres pix:

feel free to wait on second opinions....but when you install coil overs you wanna knock off the perch that the springs sit on...the coil over will jus slide over the strut...that is what is wrong IMO...did you keep em on on teh front too?? cuz a 4 inch drop should have you damn near rubbing your tires in the wells.

kool, k i kno now i need the perches off, but why is is it that the whole rear end will just stay up on only the rod of the strut? i dropped the spring, to like the 4 in pos, and the f@$#in strut was holdin the car up! so whats the dael there?

get the perches off then ask questions. youll see it works just fine when you do it correctly

Third to say knock off the perches.

It sits about 3-4 inches lower once you knock them off because that is how they were made to be.

knock off the perches x 4

edit: turn the shock upside down in hand and just tap the outside edge of the perch until it comes free

anybody here with skunk2's and agx shocks?

either your wheel hitting or you have it lowered too much. Try jacking it up a lil bit and seeing if teh sound continues.
