did all you guys have to use a spring compressor to take off the stock springs?

when i did my springs, i did not need it....but it definitely would've helped

Ditto. i did'nt need it either but i'm not telling you not to use one.Its more of a saftey issue. You don't want the spring flying off and imapaling you.

When i did mine i didnt use one and really had no use for it if i did use it. But remember safety first emoji

The rears have so little pressure by the time the nut is at the end that I never use it for taking springs OFF. The front springs have a little more pressure but just put it on the ground pointing at the ground and you'll be fine. There isn't near enough pressure to impale anyone. Enough to maybe bruise you a little if you are an idiot I guess.

If you cant get one wrap a towel around it before you take off the nut. The towel will absorb the impact/pressure/impailingness/energy from the setup. emoji
