Anyone have any comments or experiences with Sprint Springs??? Any comments or suggestions are welcome... THese will also be paired with Tokico struts...

I have sprint 2" drop springs and the car is low, the front bumper sits probably just a little over two inches off the ground(i have a 95 talon by thr way) and in the front there is virtually no wheel gap and a little gap in the back. the ride is very comfortable and to tell you the truth i would have liked it a little stiffer. overall the the ride is good and it looks alot better than stock. they were pretty cheap and im happy with them.
P.S. if you have to drive through heavy snow you might do a little plowing =)

I heard Sprint tends to sag over time a little more than Progress. This was said from someone who sold both sets at the same price, so I guess maybe Progress might be better? But I'm pretty sure its not that much difference...

I have them... They are nice for the price.

only paid $115 for them...

The good is that they are cheaper then rest
They do lower the car and it looks and rides nice.

The bad:

If you get 16x7 rims and you are in the 250+ lbs range... (yeah I am a big boy) these springs a not stiff enough to keep the car in the rear from rubbing the tires when.

ITs do to the progressive rate... constant rate springs sould be stiffer. and this should not be an issues.

As for the look... Mike. D That is very interesting about your wheel well gap. My gap in the front is alot higher... and I wish it was lower...

can ypu post a picture.... I have a feeling that the folks that installed my springs might have put the front on the back and the back on the front.. if thats the case that would suck.. and that might explain the bottoming out issue I was having when I installed my larger new rims (probe GT 16x7's Looks great! and I want to put them back on)

i will try to post a pic when i get a chance to take one and i have never rubbed a tire and i have 17's with 215/45/17 and i weigh about 250 myself. so im thinking maybe yours were intalled backwards. i installed mine myself hand the springs were labeled front and rear so unless they were labeled incorectly im pretty shure my are on right.

you may be able to tell just by looking at the mounted spring whether or not they were mounted correctly. but the front wheelwell will always be a little gapped, but thats because of the fender size. take a look at the car form the side...see how much higher the front wheelwell is than the back. good luck filling it though, im lowered almost 3 inches on 19" wheels and i still count at least an inch of gap in front.

Yeah 215 will not rub.. Since I got the bigger Ford probe rims I put 225/55/16s A much wider tire... and that's most likly the major reason for the rubbing.. the tire width... Let me tell you those boy are wide...

So I had to put some rubber and one adjustable Spring boster in the rear...

I am slowly turning my beastie into a little F1 car.. with all the little things I have on there to adjust...

Oh.. also.. I have the Ingalls(sp?) 3degree camber kits @ all 4 wheels.. I think thats one major reason my fronts are higher then my friends...
