#23933, "Strut Leaking!?"

Hi guys,
My strut is leaking... I would like to get a new pair online.
How much are they? What component do I need?
do I need all of them? Shock Absorber... Shock Bellows... Strut Mount
Please give me some suggestions!
where to get which brand, etc....
thanks a lot!

If the strut is leaking, then I would think you would replace the strut. emoji The cost is going to depend on your selection. I bet this gets moved to sus/handling here prett quick. emoji

You need a new "strut."

I recommend Tokico Premium Performance struts as a great middle of the road strut that will meet all your needs now and in the future.

A lesser brand would be the KYB GR2's. Acceptable struts. Mxed results after lowering your vehicle.

Some AGX's would be really nice if you've got some cash and willing to spend.

If you want a lowered stance, buy some springs.

ditto that.
I recently bought a set of the Tokico HP's off ebay, good price good performance, I highly recomend for the $$$
you might need rear upper strut mounts, for some reason the rot out really bad emoji mine actually broke in two peices!
They are super easy to check and can be cheap to replace, so even if they are just a little rotten, they will get alot worse before you know it, so replace those P.O.S. good luck!

Don't buy KYB GR2's....spring the extra cash for better struts. My rear ones are blown...and once i lower the front, those will prolly blow in about a month or so.
