What's ur take on the aem big rotor kit upgrade??? from both front and rear discs? thinking of buying those and Also the tokico illumina shock/suspension kit // do both of those offer not only quality but performance? thx

not really worth the money. i have them on the fronts (GSX version). if you want your money's worth get some GSX calipers and some nice rotors from www.raceconcepts.net they won't be oversized but your braking will be greatly increased. if you want big brakes save up for a real kit - one that comes with calipers and big rotors. the rear brakes on our cars don't do very much so upgrading them won't show much gains.
if you think about it the whole concept of the AEM oversized rotor isn't that great. it's just a big rotor that's not really meant to work with your stock calipers. there's some pad over hang due to the calipers being spaced farther out to fit the rotor too. the pads on our calipers aren't intended for a rotor of that big a radius so the curvature does not match.

I like my AEMs... they are the new version which are not drilled, which is better I think to avoid cracking. I have rebuilt GSX calipers, SS lines, and metalmatrix pads, and they really kick ass IMO.
