#2356, "KYB AGX AWD shocks"

A friend of mine is selling some new KYB 4way shocks that were for his 2G AWD. Can I be able to use these shocks on my 2GNT??

I don't think so. I believe that struts for the AWD models are different somehow.

Can someone second that? He said he called up KYB and they told him that commonly people with FWD get the rear AWDs since the AWD rears are adjustable from the top (so no need to jack up the car...).

I know that the fronts struts for both FWD and AWD are the same.

741018 for the fronts
741020 AWD rear
741019 FWD rear

Yes I believe you can use it. The AWD front shocks are the same, but the rear are a bit stiffer and a bit longer than our stock ones I believe. It's due to the extra weight in the rear for the AWD. I know Kaiser has the AWD GR-2 shocks in his rears, so if that fits, the AGX should too.
