#2353, "Attn: DeanoD....... and Brake decision SOLVED!!!!"

I finally got through to SP Motorsports. I was getting worried but after I shot and e-mail I got a responce and got off the phone a few minutes ago. Full set of Silver Cadmium Plated KVR Cross-Drilled Rotors $308, KVR Carbon Fiber Kevlar Pads $115, Shipping $18.50. I'm getting my whole set up for $441.50 shipped to my door. I should have them next week. KVR is doing the Cad plating and shipping to me, he thinks Friday. So I should have them Next week. I was having a ^&*&^ day, but this certainly brightened it up! a little.

Deano, I know we went thorugh the numbers... so they must get one hell of a deal! And so did I!!!!!

Sounds great. Seems funny their pad prices are higher than our selling price, but their rotors are hands down cheaper. I am still trying to figure that one out.

BTW:Tell me if your rotors do not come in actual Brembo boxes. I am also trying to remember if the rotor was stamped with a letter
"B". Not sure right now.

Take your time and seat the pads/shock the rotors slowly. Let them cool like the directions say. I would do this a couple of times and then drive gentle for a couple weeks of street driving before I got on them hard.

Also your cad plating will change color slightly around the veins that allow air to escape from inside the rotor. No big deal.

I'll let you know what shows up when it gets here. Good to know ahead of time about the discoloration.

Thanks for the tips in seating the pads. That's one of the beauties of having my Neon and driving that to work. I can take my DSM out on the weekends and do all my break in of parts in lower traffic that rush hour where I may have no choice but to pound on the whatever I just installed.
