Where should I get a good set of liftime brake bads? I don't think that EBC and Hawk are liftime, right? Are Bendix ceramic brake pads from discount auto parts any good? any other brands I should look at, I want something that hardly dusts.

I've heard of pads being lifetime but im not sure what that means, The life time of the brakes? Im pretty sure they wont last 60 years.

well, i know which ones not to get, forgot the brand at the moment but they're the $32 semi-metallic sets from autozone...blue box. they dust up and squeal like crazy, lifetime warranty for wear as long as you don't run out of pad and damage the steel backing, but i definitely recommend higher quality, worth the money.

ps- yes i have taken the pads in for replacement... even swap and a new receipt, kinda surprised me how easy it was.

I have some carbon metallic pads w/ a lifetime warranty from Advance Auto. They are temporary till I get the rotors for my GSX brakes, then I'm returning them emoji.

I have had NAPA Ceramix pads for over a year. No dust, no squeal and plenty of pad life left.

I have the ceramic pads (front) from Autozone. They cost about $45, and as long as you return them before you reach the metal on the brake shoe, they will replace them free of charge. The amount of dust on my front wheels is about equal to the dust that accumulates on the rear discs (which isn't very much).
