it helps when you have a friend, cuz then they can lift up the fender while you slide the jack underneath.

Between the front tire and the side skirt I can usually geta jack under. When I worked on my car with an air lift we had to get 2 guys to left the car up a little so we could swing the bars under.

i took the cap off the jack and that gave me enough room to slide it under the car you just have to be careful best is to drive up on something like the other guys said it depends on what kinda ground you have to put the car up on if its pretty flat you shouldn't have too much of an issue

i can just barely slide my jack under the car. Pain in the ass to jack up from there. As soon as its as high as I can get it (look at other side of car and how my sideskirts are about to hit the ground) I throw my jackstands on. But it takes me like close to 40 mins to do all that. Like I said its really hard to jack it up with my skirts in my way.

I take the cap off my jack, to slide it under my bumper, then put it back on underneith the car.

You can also use that spare tire sissor jack to raise it enough to put a real jack under it.

Just invest in a racing jack like i did. It saves so much time and effort in the long run. Probably one of the best things i've bought so far, tool wise. They way i figure it, i am going to be working on my car for a long time, plus we drive dsm's, so that means i am going to work on my car alot. I have for sure gotten my money's woth out of it, and i have only had mine for a few months. Plus it is like 4 or 5 pumps and the thing is already 2 feet off the ground. you could pick up a craftsmen at sears for like $150. Just my opinion though....

2X6's are the easiest. Lay one 2x6 down on the ground, then about 2 ft away from the start of the first 2x6 lay another. this way you drive up one and the other will raise you another 2". You could buy one board, cut it in half and be fine. The nice thing w/ 2x6's are you have plenty of room for your tire on the thing

400whp or bust.

or you could take off your front end....its easy for people like me who have it attatched to your car with zip ties. Other then that i use the cheesy trunk jack and then a real jack when its high enough.

i use either a low profile jack if one is available, or use 2x4's and then put the jack under it.

I have Sportlines. If you are good at manhandling things, pull up on the fender AS HARD AS YOU CAN and kick the jack under the car with your heel. Works well when you don't have any 2x4's.
