i brought this problem up before ... i had a knock in my car when i made a lft turn and hit the gas ...this also happened when i accelarated hard .. it made a clunk sound ... so i brought it to the shop to have the c/v joint checked as someone instructed me to on the board ..well the c/v is fine .. it turns out to be the lower control arm ... the mechanic also said this isnt going to fail but the noise will persist ...he also told me that the problem is probably releated to when i had the tranny takn out .... does this sound right ...should i go back to te dealer and have them fix/replace it ? if so thats annoying cuase now i have to take off my pulley again and the intake ....whatta bitch ....let me know what u guys think .. thanks

You know that's interesting. I had my auto tranny replaced a little over a year ago, and ever since when I brake or accelerate hard in a left turn, I get the same clunking sound. Sorry don't have any fixes for you to try tho!

Check the recall page. When I got my recall it said my ball joints may be bad and lower laterl arm, so maybe you can get it fixed for free.
