#23133, "Could be little could be big?"

OK, I bought a 1995 Eagle Talon ESI about six months ago used.
When I am going around a left handed sweeping curve with any
kind of speed, I feel a shimmy, wobble, shake, flutter in the
whole car. It is like the whole car swerves and moves over
about 3 to 4 inches. I thought it was my tires, so I bought a
new set of YOKO's. Still have the problem, and it is getting
worse. I also have the front and rear strut bars installed,
but the problem was there prior to this install. Any comments
would be helpful, as I have no idea where to start. I read on
another post where they have a recall on the ball joints. It
is for the eclipse, but is it also for the talon, and is it
only for the original owner of the car?

recall is for all of them talon/eclipse turbo, non turbo.

i'd definitely check your suspension, front and back for loose
parts. I'd DEFINITELY also get the recall done.

I'm going on 170k today (yeah, about 10 miles more!!!) and I
don't have that problem, but I have had my ball joints done
(twice, once by recall, once before the recall because they
DID SNAP! and the front end of the car fell).

just get under the car and try and wiggle/shake suspension
arms, it should tell you what's wrong.

I'd also unclick the "plain text" box above the subject line unless you're posting some HTML do0d. emoji

Thanks Guys,
I have looked on the front, because that is where it felt like it was coming from. I will check the back ones today. Should I go to the eclipse dealer for the recall? Is there a way to check if MY car has ever been checked for recalls?

dealer will be able to tell you if the recall is still open by running your VIN.
