i just realized that the bumpstop was not put on the new shock. it is the yellow piece on the shock right? if so it is still on the stock shock. so i guess we will cut them and put them on the new shocks. also, is that what is causing the noises when i hit the bumps?

Well mines was more of a 'clunking' noise everytime I hit the brakes. I found out that it was one of the inner panels. You could notice that behind the tire theres a panel connected with a screw or two...mines came off hanging and scraping the floor after I changed the shocks and springs. I guess I mightve knocked it off during the process. It's hard to explain what that part is but you can definetly take note of that. Mines was also from the drivers side. Hope it helps.
