I have 17" Rims with 205/40/17 Tires, and I am getting my car lowered, I just wondered if 2" is going to be too low? or should I go with 1.5" instead, I want to still be able to get a jack under my car, but I want to fill in the wheel gap! Thanks

1.5 is a more gentle ride, though you will have a little more wheel gap. Vice versa for the 2 inch drop. There are people here with more than a 2 inch drop, but I bet their asses are paying for it.

It all depends on your preference. Most people decide to go back to a 1.5 or so drop after having a 2+ inch drop because they get sick of it.

I've got a 2inch drop on mine with 18's and i like it pretty good i had the same drop on 17's and it looked good still slight fender gap but not bad. When u do stuff like this its best to go ahead and buy good parts to start with others wise ur gonna end up with a bad riding car. What kind of springs r u looking to get?

I vote for the Tein S-Tech Springs and Tokico Blue Struts. That would give you about a 1.6" drop and they would be a perfect fit for 17" rims.

If you want to get a jack under your car, don't go with a 2 inch drop. I have Intrax springs, about 2.2" and there's no way in hell I can get a jack under there. I'm still riding on stock struts, so I can't really speak to the quality of ride.

AEM CAI/ AFX UDP/ GST Muffler/ Magnecors/ NGK plugs/ Intrax Springs/ Symbroski Shift Kit
