Alright, I want to upgrade my suspension, and fix my warped front rotors, but I don't have a whole lot of money right now, and I want to get a new engine soon.

The plan was originally to get either illuminas and prokits, or teins, but I am thinking about just getting the pro kits, and riding on stock shocks for the time being, then upgrading the shocks later. How bad would the ride be?

For brakes, I wanted to get GSX calipers, and bigger rotors, but now I am thinking about just getting power stop rotors to use with the stock calipers. the only problem with this is that I wouldn't be able to use the same rotors if I ever decided to get new calipers.

What do you guys think I should do?

if your tight for cash and want that engine...I would get the pro kit..ride on stock shocks for a while if you choose. I did and bought the koni yellows later worth it! As for brakes i got the power stops slotted and drilled and bought full metallic pads at autozone which are stocked items....she stops great. I will go GSX when i have my motor done as well.

power slots are 100...ebay
metallic pads were 44.00 at parts store.

i'd say, if you're gonna do something then do it right the first time. If you can't afford a strut/spring combo (which is almost the same price as basic teins) then wait a little longer, save some more money and then buy it. Trust me teins are worth the wait.(better than shocks/spring combo and almost same price)

Good Luck

Yeah, if you do the strut/shocks and springs, just go with teins basic since they the same price. I have prokits on stock struts; the ride is okay but I love how it looks. I'm kinda wanting my stock struts to blow so I can buy teins true coilovers but I've been waiting for a year. If your on a budget, buy some used prokits.
