I want to drop around $600 into suspension, but no more. I was thinking of getting H&R Race Springs, Tokico blue's, and a front and rear strut bar (not sure which kind to buy). Does anybody have any input on what is good to buy or if that set up is good? I want to make my car handle pretty good but I don't want to buy a dampener because they are too expensive.

wow, $600 isn't a lot of money. You rollin on stock wheels? Your wheels will change your handling properties a LOT.
First of all if you have an RS you don't have a rear swaybar, just like me. You can go to a junkyard and get one off a GS or GST but remember you have to get the lower control arms as well because the RS ones won't accept a sway bar.
Front and rear upper strut bars work great, if you're on a budget get the eBay generic ones. I have them and wouldn't pay a dime more for any other type.
Look into getting lower front and rear strut bars.
Swaybar setup from a junkyard: $100 (estimate) Front GST Swaybar from junkyard: $50 (estimate)
Now you're up to $545 without shipping costs. If you can get some more money saved I'd suggest getting a bushings kit from prothane or energy suspensions too.

you could look around for some used TEIN's....they will run you like $600 or so, then you have the best struts/coilover combo there is. That would prolly be enough of a handling upgrade for the average joe IMO.

So I can't put upper or lower strut bars on the rear without the sway bar. I didn't know that, sorry I don't know too much about suspension. Thanks for the info. I think I will just get the tokico springs and the H&R springs because I want to get rid of all the wheel gap and the tokico springs don't seem to do that. I have stock RS rims but I want to keep them for a little while because I do not have enough money. I want to do the springs and shocks because I cut my springs temporarly so I want to change it out.

Yes, sway bars and strut bars have nothing in common.

whoa there. You CAN put strut bars on without having a rear sway bar bro. They mount to different locations. He is just suggesting that you add a rear sway bar because you feel more of an improvement with a rear sway bar then with strut bars. If you have the money get them all, they will of course help you out. Again A rear sway bar is NOT needed to mount rear strut bars.

Here is the Tokico Illuminas with Tokico springs:
Ended up lowering 1.75" in the front and 1.5" in the back.

are those 17's? I am not sure if I want the tokico spring and blues combo or the H&R race springs and tokico blues. I found some used H&R race springs for 100 +30 for shipping, and I can get the shock/struts from ebay for like 230. You all have any more suggestions? I am not getting the strut bars or sway bars for now.
