Most strut bars do the same thing. If your going for a front upper i wouldn't recomend a Ractive as i have one and it rubs on the heat shield on the hood. As for making a difference, it defenitely makes a noticeable difference when cornering. I also have a rear upper strut bar which cut out the amount of movement my back end has around corners. All in all i wouldnt spend more than 60-70 bucks on one. Try Nopi.
Just cornering. I'm riding on stock shocks/springs and 14's and my car handles pretty good. I had springs and tokico illuminas too, but I unlowered it for winter and it still handles pretty damn well.
Your increase in acceleration will come from stiffer rear springs and shocks so you get less rear weight transfer.
I ended up getting a brand new Konig front strut bar for $5.00!!!! plus shipping off of Ebay...It rubs just slightly on the heat shield, but I don't know if it is possible to get one that mounts lower. Anyway, It does its job, and I noticed a difference right away...(lots of turns to get home from work) I doubt it really matters, but I hope someone else reads this topic and posts one they haven't had a rubbing problem with.
I have 5 strutbars. I got an ebay front and rear. like 12 bucks a piece. I also have a neuspeed front upper. It was 60 in a groupbuy and made a more noticeable difference with the ebay bars. It bolts up to a different place so you can have 2 front uppers. I also have the hurricanegs front and rear lower bars that helped out. steering response feels a lot nicer with all the bars and i recommend em.
I have a cheap front and rear strut support and they helped out alot with body roll. I would have to say they cut it down by 40 percent even with stock springs and shocks.
I drove around for awhile without strut bars when I had my KYB AGX struts and Eibach Pro springs, then when I bought cheap carbon fiber look-a-likes off of e-bay, I noticed a big difference in handling. Everything was tighter and crisper.

I have the Bomz upper front and upper rear ones. I bought them cheap off eBay. They made a huge difference on my RS The front one rubs on the hood heatsheild a little, but I don't care.
