Ok first off my suspension setup is Ractive coilovers on stock struts/shocks so that was my problem to begin with i know. Anyways into the story. I was driving on the highway tonight fine, no problems. I get off the highway and a little bit down the road i hit a bump and the whole back right side of my car just dropped. I stopped at a gas station and the entire back right side of my car was dropped. Luckily i was able to drive it home. How the back tire wasnt hitting the wheelwell ill never know. Anyways, heres my question. What the hell is wrong?! Do i have a busted shock, strut, etc? I checked the lower control arm and upper strut tower bolts and they were all fine. Did the lower bolt come loose? I also checked the screws on the hex screw to see if maybe they slid down, which they didnt. The spring was also in one piece which i checked too. Im totally stumped. Im gonna jack up the car tomorrow and take a look but i honestly have no idea. Im buying a Tokico suspension kit so i dont really care but I need to know until i get that suspension kit installed. Heres two pictures of my suspension height before and after this happened...any help would be highly appreciated...

If you're on stock shocks, they probably blew.

Or maybe the coilover slipped off or got jiggled loose?

I bet that if you were to pop the hatch, you would see the top of the stock shock sticking up through. I bet that you blew something on the top mount of the shock.

Well heres what happened. Jacked it up today and found out very quickly that no, it wasnt the lower bolt which was my main suspicion. The little metal circle which the springs rest on on the strut came loose and just dropped along with the spring, being the reason why my entire suspension fell. Im ordering new KYB strut mounts and and Tokico suspension kit in the following days so that should solve the problem and take care of the harsh ride quality of coilovers on stock suspension.
