#21719, "Where to buy best Lug Nuts?"

Well......... I bought some cheap a** lugs from Advanced Auto (I think). Over the year or so I've had them: they silver chrome (see also PAINT!) has chipped off, they have turned orange from rust, and now even the inside threads C'ms 2 have bent over as they just slide over the studs! I mean WTF?!? Talk about getting what U pay 4, man this p*sses me off!

Anyways, I need 2 replace them yet again w/out repeating the same mistake 2x. Pleaz pleaz pleaz help me out, no trial & error shi... crap. Also, keep in mind, I need CONICAL lugs as my 3rd Gen RX-7 Rims mandate this!

Thanx as always!

Try NAPA, and just give them the make/model info for an RX-7 and they should give you what you need. Also if you want some fancier once try

I think gorilla lugs are the best, and they are pretty inexpensive. (They have the largest selection of lug nuts than any other company.)

I bought mine from www.jcwhitney.com for less than $40 shipped.

Thanx 4 your replies guys, hope U all had a good Christmas & New Years! Anyways, here's what I'm looking @...

http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=MCG%2D65557

"For use with 5-lug wheels, M12 x 1.5 thread, 13/16 in. hex size, with locks and valve stems, chrome plated, SplineDrive lug nut kit"

I'm pretty sure our studs R 1.5", but I don't remember about the threads. Is M12 right? Oh yeah, they're $72.95 + shipping. They're rather Xpensive, but is prob what I'm looking 4.

I've gotta friend who got his @ NAPA & said they were fine, just got a lil rusty. Not wanting 2 have 2 deal w/ again.

Lemme know & Thanx!
