I picked up a set of sway bars for my car from a friends wrecked car. The only problem is they didnt come with any instructions and im missing the back sway bar polyeurathane mounts. Does anyone know where i can get either of those? And the other question is, i havent looked yet, but do the 98gs's come with a stock sway bar? I dont believe it does, and if it doesnt would i have to purchase the adapter kit?

Instuructions? You don't need no stinking instructions. If you have a GS then you have a rear sway bar and all you have to do is unbolt the endlinks connecting to the sway bar and unbolt the bracktes and drop it out. If you have an aftermarket cat back you may have to remove it. As far as the front you will need to again take off the brackets and endlinks where they connect to the sway bar, then very carefully take out the front sway bar and remember how you took it out cause it is a bitch to get in/out of the car... trust me.

You mean bushings right? You can get oem rubber bushings from the dealer if all else fails, though we didn't get thoes since we had urethane bushing with the sway bars. And for the front, unless you have aftermarket brackets for the larger bar/bushing, be prepared for a fight with them (See thread posted by me on this page).

There are a couple other things you may want to know. First, you may want to go ahead and buy new endlinks for the front and the rear cause they can be a real bitch to get off and you could strip the nut like I did, but I bought new endlinks before hand so I could just replace them. I got them at the dealer for $33.28 for both rear links and $62.16 for both front links (Down with SATAN!!!). Another thing is what I mentioned above... remember how you got the front bar out cause it IS a bitch to get in/out.

If you need the part numbers for the links I can give them to ya, or if you need anything else regarding the sway bars cause my G/F has a RS and I had to get a bunch of stuff for the rear and some things for the front. Let me know if you have any questions, but remember... after being helped, its always nice to give points (that was kinda lam )
