They are a good all season performance tire. Nothing beats an all out snow tire for terrible conditions, but if you want a compromise this is a good choice.
The V-rated tire will be a little more on the performance side and the H-rated tire will be more on the M&S side.
What size tires are you considering on what size rims(include width)?
What are your average driving conditions for winter?

well they are going to be for the evo..... i have a guy that has them brand new right now at his house... he put the evo in the garage for the winter and bought a beater but had already ordered the tires.... I will be driving modertaly in the snow since it bearly snows here in NYC area except for days like today...... but the advans are like using rollerblades in the snow and cold....
