my car is lowered with 19's and a 2 inch drop..my front camber is off..i have ingalls camber kits..when i get it aligned do they go bye to stock specs or do i need to get new specs from the camber kit company..need help soon and with people who got there alignments done with camber kits so i can get this done soon..thanks guys..

Let the place that aligns your car know that you have aftermarket ingalls camber kits (so they are aware, they won't look for them). The camber is then adjusted so your car is in stock specs (which is how it's suppose to be).

How bad of rubbing do you get with those 19's and that drop?

I only have 17x8 rims and i have a 2" drop in the front and 1.75" drop in the rear. my front camber is within specs, but the rear is the only ones that i needed a camber kit on. the rear, after the kit was installed were in specs.

It's tough to find a shop that knows how to do alignments with camber kits correctly...and if they do, they always want to charge more. What you need to do is to jack up the car and extend the camber kits as far out as they go. Then, drive to the shop to get an alignment. That way they'll only need to adjust the parts they're familiar with. I was running 18's and a 3" drop and had camber within factory specs (at the outer limits, but within specs) using this method.

The trick is to watch the tech as he does the alignment, look at the values when he loads up the alignment data on the computer, and then let him know if you need your camber adjusted or not (then tell him how to adjust your aftermarket kits).

Sears and Big Ten Tires will both align your camber if you got kits and they know.

i dont rub at all i have the rear lip grinded out and the front rolled and i have never once rubbed..so what you guys are saying is they adjust it to stock specs??

Yeah, I'm not quite sure what your question is.

Camber is a vertical angle the wheels set. It's not varible depending how low you are, there is a certain range it always needs to be in, and they should adjust it to be within factory tolerances if you have adjustable kits installed.

I can find my paper with the factory alignment specs if you want them.

when i went to get it done the guy told me i would have to call the company that made the kit and get new specs because my car is lowered and my wheel offset and that the specs changed..he said if he aligned it to stock specs it would be off since my car is lowered..i dont think it sounds right but im not sure..
