alright, I am interested in buy the sportlines but dont have the money for new shocks right away. How quickly will the shocks go? Also, I have 17" with 225/45/17 tires. Will the tires rub the fenders at all from the drop? Will I need a camber kit? If so, where can I get a good one for cheap. Thanx guys.

you will need camber kits. your tires may rub but if you roll the fenders you should be fine. your stock shocks will hold up for a short while but it wont matter much if they blow. i can guarentee that my shocks are blown big time and i dont really notice a huge difference between them before and now. if you are switching from some performance shocks, that may be a different story. you will most likely notice the difference.

I didn't need to roll the fenders.

This must be done if you get Sportlines:
- ALIGNMENT (The day you do the install! To correct the dangerous toe out you'll have.)

I would not buy Sportlines if you don't have the money for shocks (and don't get AGX's w/ Sportlines since they have the tendancy to explode due to the short travel).

You will need front and back camber kits unless you have the money to buy tires twice a year.

You can get Ingalls Extreme front camber kits for $120/pair shipped, and Ingalls Extreme rear camber spacers for $25/pair (The $15 dollar camber mod doesn't include washers with as much strength and surface area as you need). Both of these camber kits can be bought on groupbuycenter.com, I got mine from Cox Import (along with my Illuminas).

If you don't have the money for the kits and shocks, then buy the Pro Kit. With those you only need an alignment and the $25 Ingalls rear spacers.


Oh and, blown shocks are a night and day difference in driveablity, comfort, and saftey. My stock shocks blew the same week I installed my Sportlines.

im on sportlines went a year on stock shocks they blew in like two months. now i got the tokico blues and they are great. You will also need camberkits. I have never rubbed on my wheel wells.
