#21198, "new brake pads, new sounds..."

ok i just got new pads today and along with it, i got some weird sounds coming from them. it happens after i drive the car semi-hard and use the brakes a lot. after the drive sessions, i notice that at low speeds, it makes a "woooo woooo woooo..." sound. it directly relates to how fast the car goes too. the slower it goes, the longer the sound and vice versa. once i really move, it goes away. what can it be?

warped rotors. Get them turned or just get new ones.

pads need time to seat with the rotors. if you replaced just the pads they probably havent fully worn in yet. especially if the rotors are warped. Did you install them correcty with the antisqueal lube? I would guess since you put new pads on and since they are thicker that places them closer to the rotors and the warp is causing them to rub.

dunno,
