#2116, "Which Pads should i get metal master or r4-s? more"

Hey everyone, right now i got fwd slotted rotors front and rear with metal master pads. I think i might have to chang my pads soon, should i stick with metal master ( which is good ) or should i change it to the r4-s pads ? is this rotor friendly with the slotted rotors?.... i love to stop on the brake late, or road race and brake hard sometimes, what would you recommend?...
later i will change my front fwd setup to the awd soon, when my rotors wear out =).... thanks Michael 99g

I've got the r4s, and so do several other turbo owners I know. No problems with the rotors, whether they are stock or slotted (mine are slotted). They will put out a good amount of dust, but that's what you get for pads which work so well.

Hey, I bought the metal masters (RRE recommended them to me over the r4-s' because I don't go to the track or anything like that, he said the the r4-s'would be overkill) but anyway. I'm gonna install them with the help of the Chilton manual and one of the steps requires that you test the "rotating resistance" once and then again later and compare the 2 numbers. Anyone know if you need to do this? I can't seem to find the resistance testing tool anywhere.
