#2106, "Strut bar over oil cap"

I have the freedom design front strut bar from NOPI and it goes right over the oil cap. Just wondering what are some strut bars that don't go over it. I'm tired of having to take it off everytime I change the oil. Thanks.

i have the exact same STB, and i have never had a problem with removing my oil cap with the brace on. you kinda have to lift up on the bar, and at the same time, twist the cap upwards towards the back of the engine. trust me, i know the bar i have was made for the turbo (oil cap in a differant spot) but it still works fine.

Maybe there is more room with the turbo model. I also have the Freedom Design STB but for the NT and there is no way pulling pushing twisting turning that the oil cap is coming off.

And 6 bolts? huh? I undo the one that holds the bar the the side mounts.

I have the Pilot Motorsports bar and it goes over the oil cap. I just pull it up and slid the oil cap out towards the rear of the car on an angle. No problems here.
